Transneft Siberia has started preparation of operational facilities for operation during spring floods and fire hazard period.
Transneft Siberia has conducted an emergency response drill in order to check the readiness and to practise personnel’s actions during containment of an emergency oil release on water surface during the period of ice formation. The drills were held at the Ust-Balyk – Omsk oil trunk pipeline’s underwater crossing through the Irtysh River in Vagaisky District (Tyumen Region).
Tobolsk Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Siberia has completed siphon laying at the underwater crossing through a nameless stream as part of replacing the main leg of the Ust-Balyk – Kurgan – Ufa – Almetievsk oil trunk pipeline (OTP) at the 148–225 km section (Tyumen Region). The technical revamping of the OTP is carried out in accordance with the Company’s development programme.

On 1 February 2019, Director General of Transneft Siberia Viktor Bronnikov held a working meeting with Alexander Moor, the Governor of Tyumen Region, at the facilities of Tyumen Machinery and Repair Plant (TMRP).
