Transneft Siberia has performed environmental monitoring and analysis of natural cycle of reproduction of the aquatic biological resources of the Taz River at the intersection with the Zapolyarye – Purpe oil trunk line (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District).
On 14-15 March 2018, Transneft Siberia held the 2nd round of the “Industrial, fire and environmental safety, occupational health” II section of the (14th) International Youth Science and Technology Conference of Transneft and members of the International Association of Oil Transporters in Tyumen.
Surgut Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Siberia is carrying out the scheduled replacement of the Kholmogory – Klin oil trunk pipeline (OTP) underwater crossing with the Bolshoye Sontorovo anabranch (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra). The works were launched in January 2018, and by now hydraulic testing of the section has been completed.
Transneft Siberia held a corporate sports festival among its employees at Khvoyny health resort (Tyumen) on 3-4 March 2018. 15 teams comprised of over 300 persons from all business units of the Company participated in the competitions.
In 2017, Transneft Siberia conducted in-line inspection of the linear portion of oil trunk pipelines (OTP), including underwater crossings, at 74 sections with the total length of 8,276 km.
Transneft Siberia has completed the whole range of design and survey works under the Special Investment Contract for establishing a manufacturing complex at the premises of the existing Tyumen Machinery and Repair Plant (TMRP).
Five sections of process pipelines with the total length of 8.02 km underwent in-line inspection at Transneft Siberia facilities in 2017. The inspection was performed by Transneft Diascan employees who used a DDK1 inspection tool.
As 2017 was announced the Year of Ecology in Russia and the entities of the Transneft system, Transneft Siberia took some measures to enhance environmental safety.
Under the 2018 development program, Transneft Siberia intends to replace and launch 130.91 km of linear portions of the oil trunk pipeline as well as to technically upgrade and build new production facilities at oil pumping stations (PS). Apart from that, it is planned to construct residential houses for the Company’s employees.
Transneft Siberia has completed routine repairs at oil trunk pipelines (OTPs). The work was done under the integrated technical upgrading programme for the linear portion of the Nizhnevartovsk – Kurgan – Kuibyshev (NKK), Ust-Balyk – Nizhnevartovsk (UBNV) and Povkh – Pokachi – Urievskie (PPU) OTPs.
