In 1968, this branch was established on the basis of the Directorate for Construction of Oil Pipelines in Western and North-Western Siberia to provide maintenance to the Ust-Balyk – Omsk oil trunk pipeline.
Tobolsk Oil Pipeline Directorate affiliated with Transneft Siberia is about to finish replacing a standby leg of the Surgut – Gorky – Polotsk oil trunk pipeline (OTP) at the section from 348.83 to 358 km (Tyumen Region). The OTP is being technically upgraded in line with the Company’s development programme.
Transneft Siberia has launched the construction of a new power supply system at Salym-2 oil pumping station (PS) affiliated with Nefteyugansk Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate (RPD). The work is being performed within the scope of the Company’s technical upgrading and overhaul programme to improve the reliability index of the power facilities. The existing power supply system, which has been in use since 1975, has aged and become obsolete. It doesn’t meet the requirements of Transneft’s regulatory documents and standard design solutions anymore.
Students of the Tyumen Oil Pipeline Professional College of Transneft Siberia have completed their theoretical course and were referred to the facilities of Transneft entities for hands-on training in accordance with their chosen professions.
