Transneft Siberia, JSC conducts operations on the implementation of equipment with improved quality parameters, performance and energy efficiency within the framework of a development program. Thus, since the beginning of the year the company has introduced seven electric motors of this type at its production facilities. A total of 11 electric motors are planned to be replaced with modern counterparts in 2017.
Presently, the work has been completed on the implementation of two asynchronous explosion-proof motors for booster pumps with a capacity of 2000 kW and a single synchronous motor for a main line pump (MLP) of general purpose industrial design with a capacity of 8000 kW at Niznevartovskaya-3 pump station. Individual synchronous electric motors for main pump stations of general purpose industrial design have been replaced at Chepursky-1 and Isetsky-1 pump stations. Experts have installed two synchronous electric motors for MLP of explosion-proof design with a capacity of 8000 kW at Zapadny Surgut line operation dispatcher station (LODS).
Another 4 synchronous electric motors with a capacity of 6300 to 8000 kW are planned to be installed at Zapadny Surgut LODS (2 pcs.), Setovo-1 pump station (1 pc.) and Isetsky-1 pump station (1 pc.).
In comparison with the previously operated motors, their modern counterparts feature higher performance characteristics, increased turnaround interval and extended service life.
The application of new electric motors will provide efficient power consumption and uninterrupted oil transportation over the trunk pipelines of Transneft Siberia, JSC.
