Chemistry, physics and mathematics classrooms have been renovated at a school named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Utkin in Gilevo (Tyumen Region). New furniture and interactive equipment to aid the learning process are currently being installed in the classrooms. The school in Gilevo had its floors, walls and ceiling fully repaired and received new electrical wiring in the exact sciences classrooms. Transneft Siberia spent about 5 million roubles to repair and purchase interactive equipment, furniture, laboratory and demonstration devices. Transneft Siberia regularly provides financial support to the Gilevo school. Thus, in 2016, the school’s cracked wooden windows were replaced with modern plastic ones as part of charitable assistance. Previously, the school’s entrance doors were also replaced at the expense of the Company. The Gilevo school is a branch of Aksarino Secondary School. It is located in the settlement of Gilevo, a few kilometres away from Bachkun line operation dispatcher station (LODS) of Tyumen Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate. Many of the LODS’ employees went to this school, and their children study there now. In 2018, as part of Transneft's school programme, Transneft Siberia has provided charitable assistance to repair and purchase laboratory and demonstration equipment for chemistry, physics and mathematics classrooms in five schools of Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Areas. The amount of investments exceeded 24 million roubles.
