Transneft Siberia has received a diploma of the first degree in the 2018 Best State of Non-Regular Emergency Rescue Team of Tyumen Region contest.
The ceremony of awarding representatives of the Company was held as part of a learning practice, during which the performance of the regional territorial subsystem of the Russian Unified Emergency Rescue Service (RUERS) of Tyumen Region in 2018 was reviewed and objectives for 2019 were set.
The event was held in Tyumen on 19 December 2018 under the leadership of Vyacheslav Vakhrin, Deputy Governor of Tyumen Region.
The participants of the meeting reviewed the performance of the firefighting rescue division’s units in terms of fire extinguishing and emergency rescue works, human safety at water bodies, organisation of works on eliminating forest fires. In addition, the main objectives for the development of RUERS in Tyumen Region for 2019 were outlined. These objectives include reducing the number of fires and arranging training events for managers, officials and professionals whose work is related to the protection of the population and territories from emergencies.
The activities of Transneft Siberia’s business units were repeatedly noted in a positive way during the discussions on effective prevention and elimination of emergencies. The specialised units of the Company are prepared for performing such tasks which is confirmed by emergency response drills, firefighting and tactical drills and comprehensive drills conducted jointly on a regular basis with the business units of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in Tyumen Region.
