Transneft Siberia has commissioned a boiler house with a capacity of 8 MW at the Konda line operation dispatcher station of the Uray Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate (OTPD).
The project was implemented as part of Transneft Siberia’s technical upgrading and revamping programme.
The construction of the boiler house was started in February 2019. Two units of the UVT-4 boiler house (transportable heating plant) with two fuel tanks and a control station panel were installed. Installation of heating networks, a water supply system, a fuel pipeline and fuel system, as well as of sewage networks was completed.
The Russian-made block modular boiler house is fully automated, which ensures reliable and safe operation of the equipment. The unit includes 4 boilers with a capacity of 2 MW each, burners with optimisation of combustion modes due to control of exit gas parameters, a boiler water preparation system, a fuel supply system and flue gas ducts. The boiler house commissioning was carried out on schedule.
The new boiler house will provide energy efficiency enhancement and environmental safety of the facility, including the possibility of boilers operating in a wide range of loads, reduction in the consumption of electrical energy, fuel, and increase in the overhaul period.
