Transneft Siberia Completes Scheduled Repairs at Operating Facilities

Transneft Siberia has performed scheduled repairs at oil pumping stations in Tomsk Region and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. The goal is to ensure reliable operation of the main and auxiliary equipment.

At the Yuzhny Balyk line operation dispatcher station of the Nefteyugansk OTPD, sector offshoots of the tank farm headers were replaced. The gate valve at the camera assembly of the pressure regulator of the Western Surgut LODS of the Surgut OTPD was replaced.

After the technical upgrading in the Nizhnevartovsk OTPD, a 20,000 m3 tank was connected to the process pipelines of the emergency discharge line. At the Aleksandrovskoye OPS of the Strezhevoy Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate, a tank was disconnected from the emergency discharge line for subsequent revamping.

A diagnostic inspection of pipelines was performed by running innovative PIGs; a total of 92.5 km of oil pipelines was inspected. In addition, 11 pieces of main equipment of onsite facilities and facilities of the line part were inspected. In particular, the technical condition of two PIG traps, 8 stop valves and a mainline pump was inspected.

The works were performed without stopping the transportation of oil through the oil trunk pipelines as part of the comprehensive programme of technical upgrading and the comprehensive diagnostic programme. The specialists complied with the requirements of industrial safety and industrial control, and also used the necessary personal protective equipment.
